2026 Mission Trips at Champions

We have four exciting Mission Trips to be a part of at Champions in 2026!

Hope Haven

Local: Homeless Mission

Date: February 14, 2026

Location: Houston, TX

Restrictions:
* Must be at least 12 yrs old
*17 yrs old and under must have an adult accompanying

Number of Attendees: 20

Personal Commitment: One meeting per-month leading up to the event starting in January 2026.

What to expect:
Champions has partnered with Hope Haven Ministries to be the practical hands and feet of Jesus to the homeless population within our community. During this one-day mission journey, our missionaries will serve by providing a meal, fellowship, and prayer. We will also offer additional services, including haircuts, toiletries, and supplies as needed.

Elijah Rising

Local: Human Trafficking Awareness Mission

Date: Multiple dates in June-July 2026 during the World Cup

Location: Houston, TX

Restrictions:
*Must be at least 18 years old

Number of Attendees: 20, split in 3 to 4 groups

Personal Commitment: One meeting per-month leading up to the event starting in January 2026.

What to expect:
Champions has partnered with Elijah Rising to increase awareness, public education, and share the Gospel as it relates to human trafficking. We will participate in an educational van tour and targeted training sessions. Since the World Cup is coming to Houston, and the increased human trafficking activities associated with such global events, we will participate in street education booths where we will share our faith, raise awareness about human trafficking, and support individuals with a desire to exit trafficking.

Dream Center

National: Family Support Mission

Date: May 14 - 17, 2026 (to be confirmed)

Location: Memphis, TN

Restrictions:
*Must be at least 16-years old
*18 and under must have guardian's approval

Number of Attendees: 12

Personal Commitment: One meeting per-month leading up to the event starting in January 2026.

What to expect:
Champions has partnered with the Dream Center in Memphis to positively impact needy children and families within the community. The mission will last four days (Thurs-Sun), and is designed to support local families through the Dream Center’s tutoring and grocery giveaway program. This mission aligns with Life Church and the Dream Center’s commitment to impact literacy and local food insecurity.

Village of Hope

International: Orphanage Mission

Date: June 14 - 20, 2026

Location: San Lucas, Guatemala

Restrictions:
*Must be at least 16-years old
*18 and under must have guardian's approval
*Have a passport or eligible to get a passport

Number of Attendees: 12

Personal Commitment: One meeting per-month leading up to the event starting in January 2026.

What to expect:
Champions has partnered with the Village of Hope in Guatemala to serve adolescent mothers, children, and orphans in need. During our seven-day international mission, our global missionaries may lead ESL classes, lead VBS, play with the children, distribute food in the community, and carry out some remodeling and/or light construction projects around the orphanage.

Hope Haven

Hope Haven’s mission is to help people experiencing homelessness find a path off the streets, offer continued support, and mentor them throughout their life journey as they become contributing members of our community.

Elijah Rising

Elijah Rising is a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to ending sex trafficking by raising awareness, conducting direct outreach, and providing restorative care for survivors. Their work includes educating communities, intervening in high-risk areas to offer pathways to safety, and offering safe housing, counseling, and life-skills support to help survivors heal and rebuild their lives.

Ima's Home

Ima’s Home, an orphanage in the Philippines, has provided more than 200 children a place to find safety and love in Christ, find freedom from their past, discover their purpose, and eventually make a difference in their community and their nation. Ima’s Home is currently building a new facility that will double its capacity and allow them to rescue more children off the streets of Manila.

Village of Hope

Village of Hope, an orphanage in Guatemala, strives to provide family, faith, and a future to children living with special needs, adolescent mothers, and children who were sex trafficked. Champions sponsored a tiny home at Village of Hope in 2024 and sent a team from the church to help with construction in 2024 and 2025.

Convoy of Hope

Working in dozens of countries around the world, including the United States, Convoy of Hope has served over 250 million people since 1994. They have a driving passion for feeding the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. Most recently, they have been on the front lines in North Carolina and Florida in the wake of devastating hurricanes.

Vapor Ministries

Vapor Ministries is dedicated to alleviating extreme poverty and sharing the Gospel by building sustainable ministry centers in underserved communities around the world. These centers provide clean water, food, healthcare, education, job training, and agricultural programs to help families break the cycle of poverty. They invest in spiritual development through discipleship, church-planting, and leadership training led by local leaders.

Memphis Dream Center

The Memphis Dream Center exists to close the opportunity gap for marginalized families in Memphis by focusing on educational equity, food security, and family stability. Through after-school programs, literacy support, mentoring, and youth development, they invest deeply in children’s futures. They also provide meals, groceries, and essential household resources to families facing food insecurity, along with financial guidance, parenting support, and advocacy.
